Civic Bloom is a small, grassroots organization operating in your neighborhood and led by your neighbors. We are a volunteer-based community initiative with the aim of revitalizing Louisville's most overlooked public spaces, especially in lower-income neighborhoods, by removing litter and debris, one block at a time.

Our first Scene Cleaning
Alongside Operation Brightside, AMPED, and a small team of volunteers, Civic Bloom carried out its first Scene Cleaning in and around the 1700 block of West Market Street in Louisville's Portland neighborhood. In two hours we collected tens of pounds of garbage cluttering sidewalks and posing hazards to the community.
It was just the beginning. We intend to continue this work for as long as it takes.
